1987年東京生まれ。高校時代から希望していた「関西建築留学」が叶い、立命館大学で建築を学ぶ。慶應義塾大学大学院 政策・メディア研究科では環境デザインを専攻し、「展示空間のデザイン手法」などを研究。
学生時代から国内外のコンペティションへ積極的に参加し、国際建築設計競技入賞や釜山国際建築ワークショップ・アジア1位など受賞多数。当時からコンセプトのロジック構築とビジュアル表現を得意とし、フリーランスデザイナーとしても活動。
大学院修了後、株式会社スペースにて飲食店やアパレルなど商空間デザイン・設計監理に従事。
イベント・展示会業界の株式会社トーガシへ転職後、競合コンペ獲得率8割以上を達成。低予算・高品質の空間デザイン手法も高く評価され、日本空間デザイン賞Best 50 of the year 2016、優秀賞ノミネート含む四度入選。
空間デザインのみならず、ブランド構築やリブランディングにおけるアートディレクションも強みとする。
2015年、所属会社との契約更改に合わせ、美術予備校やデザイン専門学校、推薦入試対策の予備校で講師業も開始。「言語と非言語を活用した資料作成講座」や「伝わるプレゼン技法」などを指導。その指導力は、予備校の夏季講習では受講生満足度が9割を超え、キャンセル待ちも発生したほどである。

2019年からは、視覚だけでなく聴覚情報のデザインにも注力。
天邪鬼な性格とカッコつけるよりも意外性で笑わせることへの執着から、唯一無二の世界観を電子音楽で表現する。「Yunsu Kay」としてはCMソングやコミックソング(コミカルサウンド)の研究をKABK MusikLab. "Comical Sound Institute"の一環として行い、自主リミックスの発表も行う。
「ONDROID(音頭ロイド)」名義では「サムライが合戦をする描写を取り入れたテクノ」や、「忍者が夜な夜な集まりそうなディスコ」などをコンセプトに各種ストリーミングサービス(Spotify, AppleMusic, Amazon Music 他)でもリリース中。ハウス/テクノなどのダンスミュージックを作ることが好きなだけであり、日本のクラブカルチャーはやや苦手。DJ出演もするが単なる一つの表現手法と考えているため、「巨大な飲み会のBGM」として扱われる様な現場は辞退している。

Born in Tokyo in 1987. Studied architecture at Ritsumeikan University and environmental design at the graduate school of Keio University.
His master's research was on "Research on the exhibition method of archaeological site space".
Since his student days, he has actively participated in domestic and international competitions, and has won many awards, including a prize in the International Architectural Design Competition and first place in Asia at the Busan International Architecture Workshop.
Since that time, he has been active as a freelance designer, specializing in the construction of conceptual logic.
After completing graduate school, he worked for SPACE CO.,LTD., designing interiors for commercial spaces. After moving to the event and exhibition industry, he was highly praised for his low-budget, high-quality space design projects. He has been nominated for the Japan Space Design Award, Best 50 of the year and others.
In addition to spatial design, he is also good at art direction for brand building and rebranding, such as "Kids Passport", an English-speaking school childcare program, and "Hatake no Shizuku", an egoma oil only available in Karuizawa.In 2015, in line with the renewal of her contract with her company, he started teaching at art and design schools and preparatory schools for entrance examinations.
He teaches courses such as "Creating documents using verbal and non-verbal skills" and "Conveying presentation techniques".
His teaching skills have been so successful that he has been on a waiting list for a summer course at a preparatory school with a student satisfaction rate of over 90%.
He is the prep school teacher who has taught design to the largest number of students applying to Keio University in Japan.
From 2019, he will focus on designing not only visual but also auditory information. His innocent nature and his obsession with making people laugh with unexpectedness rather than coolness make him express his one-of-a-kind worldview through electronic music. The artist's name is "Yunsu Kay". His music is based on the concept of "techno with samurai warfare" and "disco where ninjas might gather at night", and is available on various streaming services under the name "ONDROID". He only likes to make dance music and is not a fan of clubs, and although he DJs, he considers it to be just a method.
